UNDER CONSTRUCTION

For now, a brief summary: I worked in construction as an engineer for GC firms Skender Construction and Clark Construction in Chicago 2015-2018. I switched to civil engineering design working at Mackie Consultants in Rosemont from 2018-2020. In 2020, I made another switch into the world of software by way of a Full-Stack Web Development bootcamp through Bloom Tech (fka Lambda School). Since then, I have worked in different capacities in web technologies: developing full-stack apps and WordPress sites as a freelancer, building integrations using an “integration platform as a solution” called Boomi as an employee for RJ Reliance, and most recently getting back into web development as a Software Engineer at InCommon, working on mostly backend development to help scale the application.

I’m proud of the varied experiences I’ve had through the years, although I see others who have climbed a bit “higher” on the corporate ladder by picking a lane and sticking with it. My game right now is to find work where I can say “I want to be doing this or similar ten years from now”.
